WALLACE, Vergie E.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today in the L. J. Bibler and Son funeral home in Warsaw for Mrs. John (Vergie) E. Wallace, 70, who ided Saturday in her Clunette home.
Mrs. Wallace, a lifetime resident of Prairie township had been ill for the past five months. She was born in the Stony Point community Sept. 24, 1888 the daughter of Z. T. and Matilda (Anglin) Byrer. She married John Wallace Oct. 23, 1909. She was a member of the Clunette Methodist church, the Woman's Society of Christian Service and the Prairie township Home Economics Club.
Surviving in addition to the husband are a son John of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter Mrs. Avery Hall of Leesburg; two brothers Harvey Byrer, of Buffalo, N.Y., [Mother's handwritten note :Emmert of Buffalo NY & Harvey of Bourbon] and five grandchildren. Burial was in the Leesburg cemetery.
