I Robert B Wallace of the County of Greenbrier & state of Virginia considering the uncertainty of this Mortal life and I being of sound mind and memory blessed to Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and form following that is to say, First after my Death I wish my funeral expenses and just debts to be paid. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Polly Wallace one third part of all my moveable estate except a lot of small saleable cattle, likewise I give unto her one negro woman named Army with full power to Dispose of her in or at any time she thinks proper and her child Caroline. I bequeath to my oldest son Samuel Wallace three hundred and seventy five Dollars. I give and bequeath to my Son Alexander six hundred Dollars. I give and bequeath to my son Washington and Robert jointly the plantation on which I now live on equally between them, by Washingtons paying to my Daughter Hetty one hundred Dollars when she arrives at the age of Eighteen years old. I give and bequeath to Washington and Robert Wallace one negro boy named Harrison -under the control of my wife Polly Wallace until Robert is twenty one years old. I give and bequeth to my son Moses the shaver plantation where Anderson Jefferies Moro lives to fall to him at the age of twenty one by Moses paying Hetty Two Hundred Dollars, in five years from this date. I give and bequeath to my Daughter Betsy McClung late Betsy Wallace four Hundred Dollars on her Legacy is to amount to four Hundred Dollars with what she has received. I give and bequeath to Nancy Hickman late Nancy Wallace four Hundred Dollars including what she has received. I give and bequeath to Susan Wallace one hundred dollars also I give to her one black boy named Albert under the control of my wife until Susan marrys or moves off. I give and bequeath to my Daughter Jane Wallace one negro Girl named Ann also three hundred Dollars making four hundred Dollars to be under the control of my wife as long as she stays here. I give and bequeath to my Daughter Hetty one hundred Dollars and including the three Hundred Dollars which her Brothers Washington & Moses are to pay to her making her Legacy four Hundred Dollars and it is my desire that this shall be a home for Susan Jane and Hetty as long as they remain single. After the distribution if any surplus remains I wish all my personal property to be sold at public sale at twelve months credit. I likewise appoint Samuel Wallace & Alexander Wallace my son the Lawfull Executors and administrators of My Estate & if Samuel should fail I wish Ballar McClung to act in his place In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written signed sealed in the presence of

The last will and Testament of Robert B Wallace dec'd was presented in court & proved by the oaths of Andrew Kincaid & John S Gregory Subscribing witnesses thereto & the same is ordered to be recorded whereupon Alexander Wallace & Baller McClung the executors therein _____ appeared in court & took the oath prescribed by law & entered into bond in the sum of $5000, with Stuart McClung and Moses McClintic their securities conditioned as the Law directs Thereupon Letters Testamentory is granted them in due form of law.
